Trumpeter 1/35 Soviet Object 704 SPH kit #TSM5575
This is a very good kit of the Soviet JSU-152 M1945 prototype (Obj. 704), that was built on the JS-3 chassis. The tread system for the kit is of the individual link variety, with no option for any long rubber strip type. The kit has a turret top mounted AA hvy. MG and external fuel drums, which were likely added when the prototype was sent into museum storage. There was a second proposal design of the unit (JSU-152A) that was to have a long-barrel 152mm BL-10 gun, which can be obtained from a Dragon Models JSU-152-2 155mm BL-10 Cannon 2 in 1 kit #DML6796, which I plan to resin-cast a copy for use. Overall, the kit is very nice quality and nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.
