Another fine 'New Orleans' - class cruiser kit
This represents the USS Astoria just before her final confrontation at Savo Island, Guadalcanal, during which she was sunk. It was an easier kit to assemble than the previous kits of New Orleans-type cruisers that I have built previously. Parts detach easily from the molds. Care must be taken with smaller parts when applying - tweezers are a necessity, especially for someone with big fingers such as me. I'm glad to see these cruisers appearing as kits - I'd like to see more Royal Navy cruisers such as the 'Canberra' and 'Durban'-class cruisers. This is highly recommended,
