Experienced model builders only
This is a beautiful kit from trumpeter and if you are an experienced modeler you can make it with minor trouble. The most tedious part has about 40 pieces that are no more than 2mm long and less than half of a millimeter wide across most of it. There is also a part of the directions where it tells you to make four guns which are made up of about five pieces each. These guns are about half of a centimeter wide and half of a centimeter long if you don't include the actual guns. There are no extra pieces except for a couple of
anti-aircraft guns so you need to be extremely careful while building this model. Overall this was a really fun and challenging model to build. Looks great when finished and I can' wait to paint it
Great remodelling of this WW1-era battleship
This kit depicts the Royal Navy's battleship 'Warspite' as it appeared following her 1940s refit. It's an excellent representation of the ship as she appeared following that refit. Superstructure is more detailed & heavily armored and more detail, including additional secondary/AA guns has been added. The kit is similar but not identical to the 'Valiant' kit that Trumpeter also produced. Overall I am certainly not disappointed. Recommended highly.
