Great Detail and Building, but with issues!
Having returned to the hobby after a 20+ year hiatus, this kit made me realize how far things have come since! The detail is astounding! And provides Hours of Building! Definitely NOT for a novice! My only issue with the kit was the upper hull fit poorly to the lower, making it necessary to saw off a bit of the interior bulkheads to get a decent fit. Also, after building all that detail almost 90% of it is hidden if you follow the instruction sheet to the letter. I built mine with the top hull and turret roof removable!
The only other issue I encountered, was that the springs for the suspension system are a touch too short, and much too tight, again following the instructions will pull the wheels up so High they won't touch the tracks.
As I said someone with experience can work around these issues and come out with an astounding finished model! I have since bought the 3 other Russian Trumpeter 1:16 tanks.
Not to mention my 2nd 1:16 King Tiger, a kt that I consider to be the best armor kit on the market today, and toughest!
