Go to Gloss Varnish for Hard to Reach Areas
Similar to my review for Vallejo's black surface primer, I've only been using Vallejo spray gloss varnish (rattle can) up until this point. This meant that cockpit interiors and other small parts never ended up being varnished because I didn't feel like it was worth it to waste spray can varnish on such little parts. This led to issues with decals and weathering as it is always recommended to lay down a gloss layer to protect the paint underneath. This product is a simple solution for the hard to reach areas or little pieces. Simply brush this on (I'm a hand brush painter) and you will get that layer of security on your previous paint coat. Then you can feel free to use your decal solutions and weathering methods of choice.
