Works great!
This was my first time using a wire cutter and I was very impressed. I found I was not very good with it (lol!), but I was able to manage. The ergonomics of it worked well. The cutter worked very well on different thicknesses and types of rigid foams. My only complaint is how the wire it drawn taught. You have to turn the lock screws away from each other. I feel there could be a better design maybe. Overall though, I've been happy with this product.
Hot Wire Foam Cutter
This is a decent wire foam cutter. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy when you're cutting through large chunks of foam and it only seemed to heat intermittently for me. It eventually got the job done, though. After the cut is complete, the sliced foam will be shiny smooth, so it at least does as it is supposed to.
