Perfect Color Ballast for Light Colored Scenes
Purchased a variety of the fine grade Woodland Scenics ballast for a n scale layout. After trying the gray, iron ore and dark brown color ballast, the buff looks best as ground terrain for a Christmas tree lot and its parking area in a snowy winter scene. The sand looking WS buff can likely fit in shore, beach or near water scenes as well. This Woodland b73 is a beautiful light ballast in contrast to most others that are dark colored.
