This is a very useful product for creating the basic foundations of your scenery. In my experience there are two things you should keep in mind when purchasing this product: 1) That your hands will look like the decrepit remains of an classical statue after awhile. So keep some water and one of your least favorite towels nearby when it gets too unpleasant. 2) You will probably need more. I recommend buying this in as large bulk as you can manage. It always runs out quickly.

Although there are cheaper plaster cloth brands, Woodland Scenics plaster cloth is better by far. There is more plaster per square inch. Other brands often have large sections with little or no plaster making it impossible to spread the plaster for 100% coverage when wet.

This model C 1203 is the best deal per foot. Says 10' length but this is a typo. Actually 15. 10 sq feet so $1 per foot. Also instead of dipping first and then applying try to position it dry where you want it and then spray with water till soaked.

I am really satisfied with this product once you get the hang of using it (not trying to do much at once) it's very easy. I found using some other products along with the plaster cloth you can get the real life like effect.

Very easy to use, this plaster cloth made it very easy for me to make hills and mountains that I would have not bee able to make other wise. Very easy for the beginner and recommend it for sure.

Great product to use for making mountains or hills on a train layout or diorama. It is really easy to use, and can be cut into manageable strips to get the desired effect you want.

Plaster cloth is 8 x 10 and is good for large areas. Very easy to use. Cut the necessary size and dip into water and lay on area.
