These fine hairs really add the realism you want to elevate your scene above the everything on a pedestal look. First, bore a shallow hole in your foam table top. Try not to pull too many strands out of the packet. Twist one end and hold it. Add a dab of white glue to the twisted end and spread it around the end to hold it all together. Bend the end tip back a bit to make a knob. Add a drop of white glue to the hole. Insert the plug of grass. Try not to get glue on your fingers or the hairs will pull out when you try to let go of the grass. Spread the grass ends. Tend to the placement until it is dried or it will try to lean over. Frustrating? Tedious? Yes. But worth it.

This is a very useful product for modellers of any scale. It's the perfect color for summer grass. It comes very tall, so will need to be trimmed to scale. It takes more time to apply than flock, since you have to glue each clump of grass onto the base individually. With practice, it's not too difficult, and achieves a very realistic look. A little bit goes a long way!

I have been modeling for nearly 40 years, but the description that says for experienced modelers some how does not include me. This grass is very fine and is very difficult to make stand up. Doesn’t make any sense to me to have tall grass that is lying down I won’t use it any more

Looks good in my scenes but is really hard to work with, I think I will have my wife make the little clumps and then I will glue them in the places I want them.

This product is very realistic, and really represents what field grass looks like.
