A great cost saver
The Just Plug lighting system is great go work with, but it can get expensive, so Light Ports are a great way to maximize the ports on a Light Hub. Four times more collections of lights, etc. per port. A great savings.
Helped with wiring
I put a lot of lights inside the buildings I construct and this was a convenient way to attach all the wires so I only had one wire to run to the main plug.

Great capability if you need it
Very simple design, and nice and small. Plugs are very hard to remove but that’s good if you’ve got little ones around.
