Well thought-out kit for the beginner
As a beginner, this kit introduces to me without being overly elementary, the basics of snow and it's accumulation types, along with icicle formation and water effects. I purchased the kit for the snow effects, to use in a simple diorama for a winter model. The snow is extremely realistic, and would be quite difficult to misapply (by creating something unrealistic and contrary to what one would find in nature). It is one of those products whereby, if you can picture something in your head about what you have seen and like to portray, the product will likely get you there by helping you put it to the ground. From reading the instructions and going to the Woodland Scenics website (the manufacturer of Scene-A-Rama) and watching their videos, I get the impression that they care about their product, and that they want their customers to be successful and pleased with the outcome. This is a major plus for me.
