Great Value
Golden Valley Canning Co. gives you two good looking, functional buildings for just $30. It's a great value and lends itself very well to kit bashing. The pieces were all flash-free, with the exception of the three roof top ventilators and a bit of the stairs. Nothing was warped and everything went together well, even the two halves of the water tower. Some of the pieces were difficult to separate from the sprue. In my kit the last page of the instructions was blank, but the full instructions can be easily downloaded from the Walthers website. I modified mine pretty heavily, basically cutting it in half lengthwise and putting the halves together to make a longer building to place against a wall. I did the same with the smaller building and put it on a platform next to the larger building. I did not use the supplied base.
