Walthers Conveyor Belts
This is a standard Walthers quality kit. The parts are all reasonably sturdy, straight and free of flash. There are some mold lines that are easily filed or sanded off. The conveyors are easy to build. I recommend building the items before priming and painting. Be warned that this kit includes exactly what is pictured, i.e., three box-like conveyors and three upright supports. The supports are appx. 6 tall but are easily cut down to meet the modeler's needs. The conveyors are about 6.5 long and 5/8 wide. They are easily glued end-to-end if you want a longer conveyor, and can also be cut shorter. My only complaint is that there is no detail indicating that the conveyor belt is in fact a belt, nor is there any mechanism modeled for powering the belt. In my pictures I show a hopper and a tower that I made and these are definitely NOT part of the kit, but they do show how these conveyors can be used.
