basic barn
This is a fairly basic barn structure. It was easy to construct and the instructions made it easy to follow. The one problem I had was with the appearance of the roof. It did not look very realistic to me compared with the rest of the model. I used plastic sheets for the roof so it looks like it has metal roofing. I would recommend this to others for a basic barn.
Just wish the colors were different
Wanted to add farm to train layout and selected this kit due to size (I was limited to space available) and have had good luck with other Walthers buildings in the past. Only wish that colors that kit came in were something other than what they were as I ended up painting entire structure to make it more realistic looking.
Disappointed
Walther's kits are usually excellent and fun to build. But this one...not so much. The roof sections are warped and do not go together cleanly. A bit disappointed.
Nice simple barn
If you want just a plain simple barn, Walthers is an excellent choice.
