There is no better sprue cutter for this price. It is very sharp for a sprue cutter and cuts very flush in all plastic. With this cutter I can confidently cut right up to the plastic because it won't warp anything. If it cuts too deep, then I use like a milligram of putty to fill up something. It has a spring that will bring the cutter back to it's original position and the tension is just perfect for making tiny squeeze adjustments. There is nothing better than this.

I have another pair of Xuron sprue cutters and they work very well. However, the Professional cutter has a thinner set of cutting blades and gets into many more places on the sprues and puts less stress on delicate pieces. I use both tools as needed, typically reaching for this set much more often, and am very glad I purchased this upgraded model.

This is, to me, the BEST Sprue Cutter I have used. Extremely sharp cutting,from the small tip(s) to the very back of the cutting edge(s) The small tips also fit right into place when plastic parts are so close together on the sprue. With a good,clean cut, most parts won't need trimming with an xacto knife

I've been using a cheaper brand of snips since getting back into modeling and hated how much plastic was left so finally ordered me a set of xuron snips and I'm blown away by how close of a cut without much of any stress marks or breakage. Definitely will recommend xuron tools!

I bought these sprue cutters for specifically cutting tank track links .It works perfect for that and cutting other model parts as well .But sometimes a nice sharp edge cutting tool is needed to cut the track links So a must have tool for modeling It's well worth it .

I got these to replace some hardware store side cutters and I wish I had done it a long time ago. These are so much easier to use and leave such a small nub if any that a pass with a file is all it takes to be ready for assembly. These will be exclusively for plastic.

I tell you these are a pair of handy sprue cutters. I definitely like the fact that these are spring loaded. Plus the fact the the blades are sharp this tool allows you to get pretty close to the piece without much excess and not much sanding required!

The best out there. My go to sprue cutters. I don't use these for anything but plastic to preserve the very sharp cutting surfaces. Very little effort needed to cut parts from sprues. Cuts very close to parts so minimal clean up is needed.

Great Cutters, worth the money. They use a shear cut as opposed to a compression cut, which cuts very clean and easy. The only con is that it does not stay shut when left alone which makes it a little more bulky.

These cutters will cut a part off the sprue with very little leftover plastic. They are an offset design, so there will be a little plastic left on the part, but this prevents any breakage when cutting parts free.

I wanted a better sprue cutter that made sharper cut and left less excess plastic. I think these work reasonably well and tend to use them on smaller and more delicate pieces..

These sprue cutters were a LIFE SAVER for the plastic models I enjoy building! Spend the extra money and pick these up, as they are well worth it!

Very pleased with this cutter, the fine point gets in close to cut even the small model pieces. Nice sharp blade edges, very well made.

Very easy to use with sharp jaws for great cuts. The edges are sharp so it is easy to get inside tight sprue.
