The molds on this kit date back to 1988 under ESCI/ERTL. It was ahead of its time then with the engraved panel lines. Its better than the Hasagawa kit. It went together well. I did have to sand down the bottom of the variable incidence wing to make it lay flush with the fuselage. The instruction sheet did not mention that. Overall, it was a fun kit to build.
