A mixed bag
This set contains two figures: one posed standing and one posed to ride Moebius' 1/25 Bat-Pod model kit.
The rider figure is really nice. The detail of Batman's body armor is pretty sharp, and the face looks good. The cape is a bit thick, I put some time into sanding the trailing edge to make it appear more natural. Some careful painting can yield a beautiful final product. I recommend making sure the figure's arms and the Bat-Pod's handlebars line up properly before doing final cementing.
The standing figure leaves something to be desired. The detail is really soft all around. The face is actually lopsided when looked at from certain directions.
With both figures, I would recommend snipping off the locating pins on the cape, and using fast setting glue to get the capes attached in a more convincing position.
A really fun detailed kit of the Dark Knight either striking an imposing stance or as the night rider!
My first Moebius kit and I liked it! I built both the Bat-Pod and Batman figure kits. The figure kit comes with BOTH a standing and a riding figure. The figures are highly detailed for their size, 1/25 scale. The paint scheme is very simple - black, flesh and gold, so I did panel line wash and shading to add a bit of variance. CAUTION: If adding the riding figure, WAIT to add the steering arms and hand grips until you are ready to place the figure AND - ON THE FIGURE - WAIT until you go to place him to glue the arms and hand grips to the figure and bike!!! I built the figure in the wrong order and had to extend the bike's steering arms to reach the grips. A really fun detailed kit of the Dark Knight either striking an imposing stance or as the night rider!
