RFM's model of the Soviet T-34/85 is one of their less complicated kits, especially when it comes to the track assembly, however this does not mean that it is less detailed; quite the contrary! This is a kit that can be enjoyed by novice and skilled modelers alike.

Omsk factory 174 built T-34/85s June-December 1945. They used other factory supplied turrets & as well as manufactured their own. There are two distinct features of their tanks a rolled plate for the turret cupola with a patch on the side. The other factories cast their cupolas. The second is the armored rain cover above the mantlet & the turret is larger with bolts. These are presented in the kit. Molding is crisp well detailed, Little or no flash just seams needing little clean up from slide molding. One piece barrel & lower hull with only attaching lower rear gear plate. Link & length tracks are provided.The instructions are pretty straight forward. The only option item is the choice of cupola (the one with the patch on the side factory 174). The build went together quickly being lower part count & the fit was good no gaps or issues. Another neat item is the wheels have separated plastic molding from the rims & wheels makes painting the rims easier not having to mask them off or if you decide to show damaged wheels without rubber.
