The kit is in white plastic. It is not for the beginner. Some of the small parts have a lot of flash and need to be trimmed cautiously. The winshields provided are are flat and square. They must be cut and shaped carefully. The parts have a lot of detail, and should be treated with care during assembly. The tires are a nice touch, they appear to be ready to mount. Overall, when carefully built, the Studabaker will make a nice stand alone model, or a handsome addition to a diorama or platform.
