Tamiya 1/35 Russian Tank BT-7 Model 1937 kit #TAM35327

I have always thought Tamiya makes quality, nicely detailed models, and I was not disappointed with this kit. The tread system is of the molded sectional link type, with no option for any long rubber strip variety. It is a little pricey for a light tank, but I suppose the crewman and officer figures help offset that a little towards dioramic applications. I think the Soviets were still using the horseshoe-style turret radio frame in 1937, going to the whip-style antenna in 1939, so an optional one of those would have been nice. Overall, the kit is of good quality and is nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.
