This is a quick to assemble kit of the famous Soviet/Russian MBT T-80. With 60 parts, three large components as well as the two (ready-made) tracked undercarriages, construction of the kit is simplicity itself. The turret is the most complex part of the build in the sense that it is of entirely conventional construction. A decal sheet (Ok) and the (clear) construction and painting instructions. The mould making department has done an excellent job here. The complex chain alone, including modelled rollers, is a feast for the eyes. The chain looks very realistic and has openwork teeth. This is a nice little kit that does a good job of balancing ease of construction with quality of finish. While the low part count means some compromises have been made, they are not as noticeable as you might think. In fact, the overall level of detail is great for this scale. Recommended for all levels of hobbyist.
