This is a very thick paint. It requires a large amount of effort to get it smooth(stirred). 3 Out of the 12 in the order would not blend/bind. 1 BIG glob of “paint” when 1st opened. I won’t be using Revell Agua paint again.

Excellent Vallejo paint and does a lot of heavy lifting both with painting sand, terrain, or bases. Also works as a great additional paint when painting skin, can be mixed in with various flesh tones to give a variation, or used as a layer to build up an appearance, or heavily watered down to use as a glaze to build up a skin color transition. Vallejo Model Color paints are very concentrated, so they need a drop or two of water to thin them down prior to application. Not sure what's up with PahPaw60's review - it mentions Revell Aqua, not Vallejo? I think he may have gotten confused and left a review on the wrong page. This paint, like all Vallejo Model Color, is fantastic and Dark Sand can do a TON of heavy lifting for your miniature and hobby painting.
